Step 1:

To do Baddha Padmasana, first of all, sit on the floor in Padmasana or lotus posture, for this, keep your right foot on the left thigh and keep the left foot on the right thigh, this is a classical cross-legged lotus posture.

Step 2:

After this, take both your hands backward and hold your thumbs in the opposite position i.e. hold the thumb of the left foot with your right hand and hold the thumb of the right foot with the left hand.

Most people have difficulty holding the toe while doing this posture for the first time, so those people can practice with Ardha Padmasana Baddha (Half Lotus) for a month.
